Deb's sense  of  humour is shining through here as she has used her favourite circle shape as coffee rings, highlighting a frazzled bird with bad morning vibes. I can just hear the poor thing saying, "Don't talk to me until I've had my first cup of coffee!" Our Featured Artist, Birgit, has used her favourite shape, the oval to create a beautiful background display for her florals. The variation of colours for the lavender plants, the butterflies flitting around, and the background texture all contribute to a rich and pleasing design. Note how the embossing flattens out for a place to add the sentiment, another great usage of shapes in this layout.
