Spring has Sprung
Welcome to another challenge and this time we have a theme challenge with a fill in the blank introduction! We've just had the March equinox this past week, which signals the first day of spring in the Northern Hemisphere and the first day of fall in the Southern Hemisphere, but our challenge is focusing on the season of spring and your favourite thing about it!
Simply fill in the blank and make your card with that thing as your theme!
Let's see what our Design Team have chosen as their favourite things:
- Create any card, scrapbooking page, 3D project or packaging project that fits the challenge.
- Please include the challenge graphic and link back to the challenge in your blog post. Turn off word verification so we can send you lots of feedback. Make sure you link the post not the whole blog to the Linky. Use #AYSI146 when uploading to a public gallery.
- If you’re unsure about ‘the rules’, check the details under the Challenge Guidelines tab.

Winners for Challenge #145
Unusual challenge wasn't it? But creative interpretations, including music notes, a skyline and pollen! You didn't disappoint! Thanks for picking up the gauntlet and going for it!
Alas, we only have 2 winners and without further ado, they are:
Karen smooshed her background to perfection and we loved the creativity of using a line of music as the spots from the sketch, with the sentiment to match. The lovely choice of colour was the top note! Well played, Karen!
Alas, we only have 2 winners and without further ado, they are:
Our Top Pick is: Karen Finkle
And our Featured Artist is: Joanne James
The Design Team was all abuzz over Joanne's clever beehive design! The texture from the Hexagons Dynamic Embossing Folder peeking through the circle and the yellow pollen like spots make such a great backdrop for those lifelike bees that Joanne stamped and so perfectly trimmed out by hand! With the clean, white background, it made for a stunning honey of a card!
Congratulations to our two winners, and thanks to everyone who played along! I hope you'll check out our new challenge tomorrow because it's a different one! Our winners can pick up their badges on this page and display them with pride on their blogs or sites.

Winners for Challenge #144
Thanks for playing with us during the past two weeks. I may be biased (haha!)but I think we have the most creative participants ever! I loved the angled design! It was a wonderful opportunity to get that washi tape out of the drawer, wasn't it?
But, as always, we may only pick 2 winners and so here they are:
But, as always, we may only pick 2 winners and so here they are:
Our Top Pick is Sara Mattson-Blume:
Sara created a really vibrant birthday card using a variety of paper, washi tape, lively sentiments and a birthday candle border punch! The Design Team just wanted to put on their fancy hats and par-tay when they saw this one!
And our Featured Artist is LeAnne Pugliese:
And from colourful to an epic neutral design with definite masculine appeal. LeAnne built on the black and silver theme to create a birthday card with a bias! The Design Team loved the crisp look of the black, white and silver and the special details, especially the "wire" anchored by the "bolt"!
Congratulations to our two winners, and thanks to all of you who took the time to enter your creations! I hope you'll check out our new challenge tomorrow and please share it with your crafty friends! Our winners can pick up their badges on this page and sport them proudly on their blogs or sites.
