Winners for Challenge #328 - Fill in the Blank at the Beach

What beautiful beachy scenes we saw this week. There's something about the shore that makes for great crafting! Shells, coral, seaweed, sand dollars - it's all so picturesque!  Then the Design Team had the task of choosing winners! You didn't make it easy for us. 

Our Top Pick is: Suzy Hinton

When Suzy filled in the blank, mentioning that snorkeling was her favourite beach activity, the Design Team wasn't expecting this adorable collection of snorkeling sea creatures adorning her well-designed card! We loved that each character had it's own bubble on a swirly textured background of white! With a perfect sentiment and great colour palette, this card is a real Top Pick!! Congratulations, Suzy!

 

Our Featured Artist is: LeAnne Pugliese

LeAnne, our Featured Artist's winning entry, is a tutorial in composition! The Design Team loved the way she combined several sets to create this beautiful sea theme. We also loved the textured stamping and sponging she did on each object before adding it. And the Sea Turtle set created an amazing background without taking away from the CAS look of the design. Challenge #328 - Fill In The Blank at the Beach

There is so much to do at the beach! I used to love taking my young kids to the beach, especially at the ocean, because it would keep them occupied and happy all day long, looking for seashells, watching the creatures in the tidepools, swimming, building sand castles, and just lazing! In fact, I would even sometimes get some long awaited reading done! That's why I created this challenge to find out what YOUR favourite beach activity is? Let us know by filling in the blank and making a card or project related to that!

For a Fill in the Blank Challenge, you complete the sentence by filling in the blank, then you make your project based on the words you used to fill in the blank. How would you fill in this one? Now, take on the challenge of making something amazing with it!
