Well, it was fun finding out different things you can do with vellum. There were some old favourites and some new ideas out there, but let's find out who our winners are!
Our Top Pick is: Maggie H.
Maggie's vibrant background depicts fall beautifully with her colourful leaves and acorns and the speckled accents. Then she has used vellum in her favourite way, as a layer between the background and the sentiment, to create a buffer between the business and brightness of the background and the bold sentiment. It creates a little softness, almost a halo around the words to give them prominence! As much as the Design Team loved the background, we were also taken with the ink blended label and the softly scalloped layer of vellum in between. Well done!
Our Featured Artist is: Kristin Sluhan
The Design Team were in love with Kristin's beautiful yellow gold and kraft colour scheme and her gorgeous embossed and die cut vellum maple leaves! The beautifully stamped pumpkins look great on that yellow and brown plaid paper, backed with those amazing leaves! So many great textural details! And that inlaid sentiment looks amazing! Thanks for playing along with your amazing talent, Kristin! Congratulations!
