We're excited to announce the winners of Challenge #297 because the Featured Artist will be our Guest Designer for the next Recipe Challenge in two weeks! We love to work with our winners! Our entries were so bright and beautiful and very hard to choose winners from!

We have a tie for Top Pick:

Our first Top Pick is: Lisa K.

Lisa found a really unique way of presenting the colours in the challenge and that was by using plaid dies. These dies overlap in different ways creating differing plaid designs. The one Lisa chose really highlights the colours in a way that lets them complement each other! Thanks for sharing this great idea with us all, Lisa!

Our second Top Pick is: Tenia Nelson

Tenia has presented us with a great study in colour, composition and texture. We love those giant sequins and the mix of vintage and contemporary patterns and images. Tenia is the master of eclectic designs, and once again, delights us with her entry.

Our Featured Artist is: Christy Stanford

As Featured Artist this week, Christy will also be invited to be our next Guest Designer! The Design Team loved the attractive way Christy used the four colours, with the yellow, green and blue as the image and the purple for the outline and sentiment. The choice of image was perfect for the layout and the choice of paper in the background really enhanced the whole effect.
