Winners for Challenge #267 - Soft & Muted

We're excited to announce the winners of Challenge #267 because the Featured Artist will be our Guest Designer for the next Recipe Challenge in two weeks! We're very keen to work with the winner! The colours in our challenge this time seemed to take a while to catch on, but when they finally did, WOW! The designs you came up with are gorgeous! Such a variety, too, depending on which of the colours were more featured. There was nothing muted about your talent! Such a tough decision, but here are the winners:

Our Top Pick is: Jolanda Johnston

That layered, stenciled, blended ink, die cut floral design alone is enough to give this card Top Pick status, but when you add the scrappy background with all the patterns and textures, plus the die cut sentiment, it adds up to amazing! Thanks for sharing your considerable talents with us, Jolanda!

Our Featured Artist is: Colleen Begley

Colleen used a window die to create the four quadrants and blended the four Challenge colours each into one of the four quadrants. They create a beautiful focal point when various foliage elements are stamped into each quadrant as well. With the addition of the die cut sentiments, the beautiful card is a real masterpiece. Colleen choice of colours to back the card are perfect. The Design Team was very impressed with the whole project and are delighted to be able to work with Colleen as our Guest Designer on our upcoming Recipe Challenge in 2 weeks! Congratulations, Colleen, and we will be in touch with you with the details.
