Winners for Challenge #221 - Preferences

It was so much fun finding out what your favourite card to send was in our Fill In the Blank Challenge, Preferences! Of course, there was much variety, but two favourites seem to emerge from the unofficial poll: birthday cards and encouragement cards, with birthday cards being the hands down winner! But then we had to choose winners from among the throng of gorgeous cards all of you submitted! No easy task! But here they are:

Our Top Pick is: Karen Brown

Karen's whimsical birthday card would be a delight for anyone to receive. The Design Team particularly liked her colouring job and the layout, especially the way the little monkey's tail winds around the end of the sentiment! The texture in the background is the perfect subtle finish for this birthday masterpiece for a child!

Our Featured Artist is: Shirley Gentry

The beautiful flowers coloured and cut from the Flowering Foils DSP, created a beautiful focal point for  Shirley's card. The skill she used in colouring the images and in fussy cutting them is amazing, but she upped her game by adding gorgeous texture in the background and on the flap of her envelope, rhinestones and a bright, bold sentiment tag! Lovely job, Shirley!

Congratulations to our winners and thanks to everyone who played along! Come and check out our new Recipe Challenge tomorrow morning on our blog! Our winners can pick up their badges on this page and display them with pride on their blogs or sites.

  1. Thank you so much, how do I express appreciate for being chosen except saying thank you again. What a great surprise when my friend Karen Finkle posted it. I am truly honored. 🙂
