If there is any theme that encourages your creativity, Christmas has got to be a major one! Wow! So many of you had so many unique ideas and beautiful designs! It was so hard to choose between all those creative expressions, but here are the winners for As You See It Challenge #312:

Our Top Pick is: Vicky Hayes

Vicky has created an artistic masterpiece here with stamped snowy mountains, blended ink sky, and stamped misty forests! The embossed sentiment looks so regal against this backdrop and all the extra touches, such as the snow falling create a vista that you have to look at twice or even three times to be sure that it's not patterned paper to start with. Beautiful work, Vicky!

Our Featured Artist is: Kelly Schirmer

Kelly's beautifully crafted entry really caught the attention of the Design Team. Between her lovely choice of colours, her baking theme and sentiment pun, the crisp frame around the edge and the inclusion of holiday foliage and berries, this card just said "The Most Wonderful Time" to us! Check out her beautiful, muted background panel, and the splatters on the berries, to the candies in the cookies and the little baking pan! This card is a well-earned Featured Artist Award! Challenge #312 - The Most Wonderful Time

Christmas is rapidly approaching! And I mean rapidly! Christmas shopping is well underway and I'm starting to see Christmas lights and Christmas trees showing up around the neighbourhood! And it's only mid-November! What makes Christmas the most wonderful time of the year? Can you turn that into a card or other papercraft project? Thanks to Team Member, Joanne, we're looking forward to seeing your projects!

Winners for Challenge #311 - Recipe for Holiday Spirit

Thanks to all the testers who tried out our Recipe Challenge last week! We all loved the elements you included to fulfill the recipe requirements! It's amazing how 5 different ingredients can be combined in so many different ways. Your cards were beautiful holiday designs, and so many delightful whimsical ones, as well. Here are our winners!

Our Top Pick is: Suzy Hinton

Suzy's whimsical elf design is both bright and bold! She has chosen the big, bold polka-dot pattern for her background and adorned it with other elements of the recipe challenge! The Design Team loved her embossed textured tab and the foil flag under the fun sentiment. But the best part was the adorable elf hat, complete with yellow ribbon and red feather perched on top of it! When it was all placed on the red card base, it just screams, Merry Christmas! Congrats, Suzy!

Our Featured Artist is: Cindy Coutts

Cindy's stunning card fulfilled all the requirements of the Challenge, but in subtle ways that enhanced rather than drove the design she created! The colours are gorgeous, subtly festive, and so perfect for the elements she chose. The thoughtful and sumptuous layers and details are so carefully coordinated! This was a clear choice for Featured Artist for this challenge! Congratulations, Cindy!

Challenge #311 - Recipe for Holiday Spirit

Our Design Team member, Jane, cooked up this recipe challenge and she has the holidays on her mind! She wants to holiday themed cards with patterned paper (it doesn't have to be plaid, by the way) with dry embossing, die cuts and ribbon! I can't wait to see what everyone does with these elements! This is going to be such a fun challenge!

You have to include all the elements in the recipe on your creation, but how you do that is up to you! Have fun and start your ovens, er...stamp sets!

We are so pleased to welcome our eleventh guest designer, Jennie Maier, (who was our Featured Artist on Challenge #309) for this challenge.

Winners for Challenge #310 - Vellum Favourites

Well, it was fun finding out different things you can do with vellum. There were some old favourites and some new ideas out there, but let's find out who our winners are!

Our Top Pick is: Maggie H.

Maggie's vibrant background depicts fall beautifully with her colourful leaves and acorns and the speckled accents. Then she has used vellum in her favourite way, as a layer between the background and the sentiment, to create a buffer between the business and brightness of the background and the bold sentiment. It creates a little softness, almost a halo around the words to give them prominence! As much as the Design Team loved the background, we were also taken with the ink blended label and the softly scalloped layer of vellum in between. Well done!

Our Featured Artist is: Kristin Sluhan

The Design Team were in love with Kristin's beautiful yellow gold and kraft colour scheme and her gorgeous embossed and die cut vellum maple leaves! The beautifully stamped pumpkins look great on that yellow and brown plaid paper, backed with those amazing leaves! So many great textural details! And that inlaid sentiment looks amazing! Thanks for playing along with your amazing talent, Kristin! Congratulations!
