Winners for Challenge #254 - Focal Point

Everyone love a good sketch challenge and this was a great one because it turned out great cards!  A focal point is a must for an effective design. Yours were varied and surprising and beautiful and made choosing winners very challenging, but we rose to the challenge and here they are:

Our Top Pick is: Mary Deatherage

While Mary's background was layered, meticulous, varied and precision made, it was her stunning focal point that made us all gasp for breath! Then we had to take the advice in her sentiment to breathe deep! The cabin stamp presented like an old time photo with that effective torn paper old time photo frame, catches your eye and holds it, drawing you deep into the image! 

Our Featured Artist is: Nora Noll

Nora created a seaside birthday card complete with handmade sand designer paper! Her seashells were carefully created and everything was distressed and sponged. Then the sentiment is the real show stopper as it is embossed in white on black in perfect contrast to the soft colours on the card. Who can't use a little beach time in the summer?

Challenge #254 - Focal Point

This awesome sketch comes to you courtesy of Design Team member, Amy! The feature that helps you create a great project is a focal point on the left! It doesn't need a flower. It can be any shape, but a focal point always helps your project catch the eyes of your observers! What image will you use? Will it be a stamp or a die cut or a large sentiment? We can't wait to find out!

Feel free to rotate or flip the sketch, just keep the integrity of it, so we can recognize it.
