Winners for Challenge #326 - Simple Sketch

Though our sketch was simple this week, it did leave a lot of room for creativity. It was lovely to see the variety of ideas you all had. From cakes to quilts, from wagons to robots, that shape was interpreted in many varied and wonderful ways!

Our Top Pick is: Angel Shaver

Angel is into Christmas in July with her entry and we loved her use of the sketch to create this lovely, traditionally coloured Christmas card. The plaid contrasting with the foliage and the large sentiment are well-balanced and full of holiday cheer! Congratulations, Angel!

Our Featured Artist is: LeAnne Pugliese

Our winning entry, LeAnne, the Featured Artist, has created a card cute and whimsical! The Design Team loved her playfulness, the choice of colour and paper, the adorable little gear border, and the addition of lots of texture! And who wouldn't love a birthday card with googly eyes and a greeting that says "Beep!" This is adorable LeAnne! Congrats!

Challenge #326 - Simple Sketch

So glad you've joined us again at As You See It Challenges! It's a Sketch Challenge this week, thanks to our delightful Team Member Deborah, and I've titled it Simple Sketch, because that is just what it is. I find simple sketches are the best for allowing you to flex your imagination muscles, while give you an underlying structure to get you started! Here's our Challenge Banner:

For our Sketch Challenge, feel free to invert the sketch and use any shape for the circle, but please keep the integrity of the sketch so we can recognize it.

Here are the challenge guidelines:

• Create any card, scrapbooking page, 3D or packaging project that fits the challenge.
• For a Recipe Challenge use all elements of the recipe - the possibilities within those parameters are endless.
• For a Colour Challenge use all of the given colours and only those colours with these exceptions:
• White and Very Vanilla are free colours.
• In addition, you may use of ONE of these neutrals: Basic Black, Basic Gray, Crumb Cake, Basic Beige.
