The Theme of Feathers presented a bit of a challenge for many it seems, but when you factor in birds, that gave everyone something to go with! And whether you used feathers on or off the bird, the images were spectacular! We are looking forward to sharing them with you today! So without further ado:
Our Top Pick is: Jaydee
Jaydee took the theme seriously this week and created an amazing quill pen using stencilling, die cutting and painting skills! Isn't it an eye-catcher? Then she matched it up with a calligraphy-like sentiment with the nib of the pen finishing off a flourish of the sentiment! With a classic black and white antique background paper, what a great example for Top Pick this week! Congrats, Jaydee!
Our Featured Artist is: Erin T.
Erin managed to create a clean and simple look while still using a homemade paint chip background that really caught the attention of the Design Team. The feather is white, but with stitched details which carry over into the paint chips in the background and around the card edges. The inchies making the colour chips are cleanly presented and labelled so precisely that it looks professional. Congratulations on being our Featured Artist, Erin!
Congratulations to our winners and thanks to everyone who played along! Come and check out our new Speed Stamping Challenge tomorrow morning on our blog! Our winners today can pick up their badges on this page and display them with pride on their blogs or sites.
