Big Exciting News and In Praise of Roundabouts

Well, today, before I show you our new challenge, I have some Big News to share with you! With a need to enlarge our Design Team, we put out some feelers and came back with some very exciting responses. Starting today, we are very happy to announce the addition of two new Design Team Members, who, I know, will need very little introduction to the papercrafting world:

Our first new member is LeAnne Pugliese, from The Paper Players and Stamps, Ink, Paper Design Teams. She has a great blog, weeinklings, (don't you love that name?) and is amazingly adept at a number of styles and techniques and a true artist! I'll let her introduce herself in her quick bio:

Our second new member is Teresa Kline, and you'll recognize Teresa from her time as a Design Team member on Mojo Monday, which just completed it's last challenge, but she is also on the Design Teams of Verve Stamps, Simon Says Monday Challenge, and Sunday Stamps! Teresa's awesome blog is paperie blooms, and her style encompasses all the latest techniques and trends, within a lovely artistic framework! We are so happy to introduce her:

Please welcome them to our As You See It Challenges team!

Now, to today's challenge:

Roundabouts, or traffic circles, are supposed to be traffic calming, but for some, I think they create panic, while others just find them to be an occasion for fun! I hope Amanda's new sketch doesn't create panic in you! I'm sure you'll find it to be an occasion for fun, just like our new and enhanced Design Team did:

The Design Team's creations will definitely give you some more inspiration:

  • Create any card, scrapbooking page, 3D project or packaging   project that fits the challenge.
  • Feel free to flip or rotate the sketch and to substitute one   shape for another but we must still be able to see the sketch   in your finished submission.
  • Please include the challenge graphic and link back to the   challenge in your blog post. Turn off word verification so we   can send you lots of feedback. Make sure you link the post not the whole blog to the Linky. Use #AYSI152 when uploading to a public gallery.
  • If you’re unsure about ‘the rules’, check the details under the Challenge Guidelines tab.
