Challenge #365 - Rhapsody in Red

I'll admit I had Valentines in mind when I created this recipe challenge! I either like my Valentines super simple or over the top and this is an over the top recipe, although it would probably work for super simple, too! But don't hold back. Rhapsody in Red is ready for you to give it all you've got!

challenge #365

For a Recipe Challenge, you can design it any way you like, as long as you've included the 5 elements you see on the Challenge banner! How you do that is up to you.

If you can think back to our last challenge before Christmas, a colour challenge, we said that the winner of that challenge, the Featured Artist, would be the Guest Designer for this challenge. And the winner was Jaydee:

And here's her beautiful card for this Rhapsody in Red recipe challenge:

Now, let's check in with the Design Team and see how they've interpreted the Recipe:

Milla's newest craft room addition is a beautiful floral stamp set from Gina K. The skill with which Milla used her copic markers to colour in the designs was really eye-catching! Then she displayed it on a scalloped-shaped card front backed by an embossed card back, creating a stunning look! Congratulations on being chosen as Top Pick, Milla!

Winners for Challenge #363 - Neutral Night

We're excited to announce the winners of Challenge #363 because the Featured Artist will be our Guest Designer for the next Recipe Challenge on January 30! Those deep, moody neutrals were great to experiment with and produced some wildly differing final products! Give them a check!

Here are the winners for this challenge:

We had a tie for Top Pick:

top pick 1

Johanna created a charming outdoor winter scene using the challenge colours even though the main colour was the dark Night of Navy! The Design Team loved the depth and texture Johanna created, those beautiful Mossy Meadows trees, but especially the snowfall texture in the background - the perfect touch. Congrats on winning Top Pick, Johanna!

Our second Top Pick is: Sandra Strobel

top pick 2

Sandra Strobel has amazed the Design Team again with an entry of incredible detail. It's a good thing her chocolate bar was a photo, because if it was in real life, we would be tempted to break off a piece to eat, it's so realistic. The choices of different types of paper makes this entry a contender. The definition of neutrals in the rules has some room for interpretation here, and the life-liked quality and masterful workmanship tipped the scales in Sandra's favour! Congratulations on being Top Pick #2, Sandra!

Our Featured Artist is: Jaydee

As Featured Artist this week, Jaydee will also be invited to be our next Guest Designer! Amanda's beautifully shaped winter scene using the challenge colours features great texture and variety. I'd display that decor in my house! The Design Team love the garland at the top of the wooden sled and the details on the old skates. Congratulations, Jaydee, you will be our next Guest Designer for our Recipe Challenge in on January 30. We will be in touch!

Challenge #363 - Neutral Night

Well, can you believe it? Our last challenge of 2025! Where has the year gone?? It seems like just yesterday we were starting the year fresh! And we're ending it the same way we started it - with a colour challenge! This one is a Neutral Colour Challenge and it was designed by our former team mate, Jane. Take a look at the challenge banner:

challenge #363

Some of you may not agree that Mossy Meadow and Night of Navy be classed as neutrals, but they are in the Neutral family of colours at Stampin' Up! For our Colour Challenges, we ask that you use all three of the challenge colours ONLY, except for a neutral (black, white, vanilla, beige) as an outline or for a sentiment. (See guidelines below.)

The exciting news is that the Featured Artist and Winner of this Challenge will have the opportunity to be our Guest Designer in the new year at our next Recipe Challenge, so keep that in mind when you enter!

Let's take a look at the way the Design Team used these colours:
