Challenge #375 - Jungle Colour

If you love bright colours, you're going to love this week's Colour Challenge designed by Team Member, Joanne! But bright colours can also sometimes be challenging to work with when you have 4 of them! How are you going to handle the intensity? We're looking forward to seeing your amazing projects!

Also, because it's a colour challenge, the Featured Artist from this challenge, will have the opportunity to be our Guest Designer for the next Recipe Challenge in 2 weeks! So keep that in mind when you enter

Here are some guidelines for the challenges:

Create any card, scrapbooking page, 3D project or packaging project that fits the challenge.
Stampin' Up! colours are used for reference but any matching colours are welcome. You can use black/neutral for outlines and sentiments but don’t use any other colours. Make sure you use all the colours in the challenge banner. Neutrals include black, white, vanilla, Crumb Cake.
Please include the challenge graphic and link back to the challenge in your blog post. Turn off word verification so we can send you lots of feedback. Make sure you link the post not the whole blog to the Linky. Use AYSI #375 when uploading to a public gallery.
You can combine our challenge with up to 3 other compatible challenges.*

Wow! If we give all of you a good, creative sketch, you come up with the most beautiful cards! Take our latest Sphere of Influence Sketch challenge! You rocked it!! We had an amazing time reading all your posts and looking at your gorgeous projects! But then,we had to bravely face the daunting challenge of choosing winners once again..

The Top Pick is: Jaydee

Jaydee's beautifully shaded pink flower rests on a gorgeous textured and foiled background of Cloud Cover. The sketch was a perfect showcase for her artistry! The Design Team felt that it all adds up to a worthy Top Pick! Congrats, Jaydee!

Our Featured Artist is: Amy Tsurutu

Our winning entry, Amy, the Featured Artist, has created a gorgeous tropical eye feast in pastels The Design Team loved the rainbow ink blending on the background as well as the way Amy emphasized each pastel with more solid highlights. Then the black sentiment piece was a great finishing touch! Congratulations, Amy, on being our Featured Artist!

Challenge #374 - Sphere of Influence

It's sketch time, and this week's sketch, by teammate Jan, is magical! Spheres do seem to have special qualities: the moon, the sun, unity, containment, infinity & complete symmetry! You can have a lot of fun with this one. As always, you can change the shapes, flip it, turn it, but make sure we can recognize our sketch!

Winners for Challenge #373 - Full Tilt Tulips

Now, in keeping with my last speed stamping post, I need to explain where the expression "full tilt" comes from! And, believe it or not, it comes from the medieval sport of jousting, also known as tilting. Two knights rode their horses toward one another, each holding a lance aimed at the other, trying to knock the other off his horse. To inflict the maximum damage, they would attempt to ride toward each other at maximum speed ie at full tilt! And now you know!

And you each created your spring bulb cards at full tilt, but you wouldn't know it! They are just lovely! Congratulations to all! Here are your winners:

Our Top Pick is: Loopyloo

Can you believe that this is Loopyloo's Speed Stamping entry?? Look at all those little bitty die cut pieces that had to be put together again with glue to make that beautiful tulip!

Not one's usual choice for a speed stamping challenge! Look at the embossed background! Another step added! And finally - Loopyloo didn't just die cut the sentiment, she also added a shadow for it! What a stunning result! Perfect for Top Pick! Congratulations, Loopyloo!

Our Featured Artist is: Christy Stanford

Christy Stanford, our winner, and Featured Artist, used a tried and true method of speed stamping, DSP! But she used it in such a powerful way that many of the Design Team chose her card as their favourite! Not only did she choose some stunning patterned paper (DSP), she displayed it in an eye-catching way, with well-chosen colours matting the layers of DSP. She made use of dies to create stitching around the edges of the layers and the sentiment tag! Congratulations on earning Featured Artist, Christy!
