Winners for Challenge #214 - Pure Colour

Challenge #214 was a challenging colour combination for many! Using such pure colour definitely presents difficulties you wouldn't expect and all three compete for top billing, or as my kids used to comically bicker: "She's not the stahr of the show, Ah am!" Our winners found a way to let all three colours fit in without unhealthy competition and created nicely balanced and pleasing compositions!

So, without further ado, here they are:

Our Top Pick is: Gayle Chrvala

Gayle has done a great job of matching the colours and the idea of using the small ornaments gave the perfect opportunity to present the three colours with equal value and still use a CAS design. Her lovely emboss resist column using the same three colours sponged and echoing the same three images is brilliant! Awesome design, Gayle!

Our first Featured Artist is: Lisa K.

These tiny tweeters with terrific personality charmed the whole Design Team. The colours in the palette were perfect for tropical birds. We especially liked Lisa's creative layout with the die cut portholes for the parrots to perch in! And even with all the bright colours, the card still retained that CAS crispness and cleanness. Beautiful job, Lisa!

Congratulations to our winners and thanks to everyone who played along! I hope you'll come back and check out our new Fill In the Blank challenge tomorrow! Our winners can pick up their badges on this page and display them with pride on their blogs or sites.
