Challenge #209 - Lean on Me! and Some Exciting News

Before we get to our challenge today, we have some exciting news to share with you. We've added a new member to our Design Team, and she's no stranger to As You See It Challenges. She's been a big supporter from almost the beginning and we are so pumped to add her to the team. Or maybe I should say "chuffed", since that's a term more common in the UK and that's where our new team member is from. We're delighted to introduce Joanne James to you, and we'll let her team bio give you some more information:

Please leave Joanne some love in our comment section! Now on to our latest challenge:

Do you have that one set of dies or that one punch that hardly ever gets put away, because you're always using it? It's your go to tool, the one you always "lean on" to meet your crafting needs! Our challenge this time, by the busy and prolific Jane Knudsen, is a "Fill In The Blank" Challenge with "My go to die or punch that I use the most often is  __________." Just fill in the blank and then make a project based on that tool. Let us know in your post how you filled in the blank! And see how many others have the same go to die or punch that you do!

And what dies or punches are favourites of our Design Team?

Amy Jasper
Amy's go to is the large circle punches.

Heather uses the Stitched Rectangle dies all the time now.

Jan has found herself turning to the Stitched Nested Label dies all the time.

Joanne James
Joanne relies on the Stitched Shapes dies, especially the circles.

Jane Knudsen
Jane's go to die is the Linen Impression Plate.

LeAnne Pugliese
LeAnne also really likes the Stitched Shapes dies, particularly the circles.

  • Create any card, scrapbooking page, 3D project or packaging   project that fits the challenge.
  • Fill in the blanks with the words that are right for you and then create your project with those words in mind. Tell us, in your blog or on your site, what words you used.
  • Please include the challenge graphic and link back to the   challenge in your blog post. Turn off word verification so we   can send you lots of feedback. Make sure you link the post not the whole blog to the Linky. Use #AYSI209 when uploading to a public gallery.
  • If you’re unsure about ‘the rules’, check the details under the Challenge Guidelines tab.

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!
