How Do You Get Your Mojo Back?

It happens to all of us at one time or another! We suffer from artistic block and the creative juices dry up! Everybody has their own way of combating this malady, their own sure-fire remedy! What's yours? In this unique challenge, simply fill in the blank on the challenge banner below, and make your card based on that word or phrase! Make sure you let us know in your blog or on your site how you filled that blank in! It could be an inspiration for someone else!

The Design Team have some great ways of pumping up their mojo:

Off this week.

Winners for Challenge #154

We were looking around all the bends for the last two weeks, as we enjoyed your takes on our Angles Challenge #154! We loved the creative license some of you took with the sketch, from palm trees to sand dunes! Very hard, once again to pick winners, but after consulting our protractor, our winners for Challenge #154 are as follows:

Our Top Pick is: Cindy Majors

High Tide_Nautical Adventure DSP_Distress Oxide Inks_Cindy Major

Cindy's seaside scene has amazing depth and detail! The clear embossing and the oxide inks work together to create a vivid image! We loved that the rub ons were the right dimensions to work with the lighthouse image, and of course, that scalloped edge on the angle softens it just the right amount!

And our Featured Artist is: Heather Heroldt

The Design Team were totally won over by the sparkly in this gorgeous "shimmer on kraft and white" dragonfly delight! Everything from the designer paper to the enamel shapes to the sequin trim has a little bit of glitter in it, but the card still remains clean and classy! Well done, Heather!

Congratulations to our two winners and thanks to everyone who played along! I hope you'll come back and check out our new and very different challenge tomorrow! Our winners can pick up their badges on this page and display them with pride on their blogs or sites.

What's Your Angle, As You See It?

So many things in life depend on your point of view. Is the cup half full or half empty? Is a silver medal something to celebrate or mourn? Do you prefer winter or summer? Everyone has a different angle from which to view life! This week you have some angles to work with on another of Amanda's sketches. Remember, our challenge is called As You See It! Let's see your angle!

The Design Team's creations will definitely show you some of their angles:

Winners for Challenge #153

Thanks to all who played with our old lace sketch this week! There were some ingenious ways of representing it! We enjoyed your creativity as always! Here are the two chosen for our winners this week:

Our Top Pick is: Cheryl

Cheryl made our hearts flutter with that gorgeous background and all the beautiful copper details. We loved how she added the copper trim to the butterfly to add an extra layer and the lace embossed in copper was the knockout punch! Thanks for sharing your lovely vintage looking card with us!

And our Featured Artist is: Karen Finkle

The Design Team loved Karen's creativity in metamorphosing the Avant Garden flower to create the lace element on her card. The rich colours were a perfect background to the silvery butterfly and they loved the small watercoloured layer on the larger glimmer paper one. Altogether, enough to make our eyes pop with delight!

Congratulations to our two winners and thanks to everyone who played along! I hope you'll come back and check out our new challenge tomorrow! Our winners can pick up their badges on this page and display them with pride on their blogs or sites.
