Winners for Challenge #162

Panels! Quilt panels, electrical panels, discussion panels, wall panels! There is no end to the variety of panels there are and you certainly used your imaginations on the panels you used for your cards! Great job everyone! Here's our two winners:

Our Top Pick is: Eunice Stoneman

Eunice created a trail sign with an outdoors map as her three panels. We were amazed at her attention to detail, right up to simulated barbed wire wrapped around the sign post and the little screw-like fasteners in all the panels and on the sign post! Wowzers!

And our Featured Artist is: Deb Viens

The Design Team loved Deb's cheerful holiday card with the woodsy background and the panels created by the white fence slats. We loved the texture and the colour choices and all the little festive touches that she added, including that scrumptious velvet bow! Awesome!

Congratulations to our two winners and thanks to everyone who played along! I hope you'll come back and check out our new sketch challenge tomorrow! Our winners can pick up their badges on this page and display them with pride on their blogs or sites.

Be a Panelist! - Challenge #162

Well, we're back to the sketches this week and Amanda has given us an interesting one to interpret. It has 3 panels in the background and there are many ways to achieve that, as you know: Designer Series Paper, watercolouring, washi tape, embossing paste - you name it and you own it! Be a panelist this week! Show us what you can do!

See how the Design Team fulfilled their missions:

Here are some guidelines for the challenge:

  • Create any card, scrapbooking page, 3D project or packaging   project that fits the challenge.
  • Feel free to flip or rotate the sketch and to substitute one   shape for another but we must still be able to see the sketch   in your finished submission.
  • Please include the challenge graphic and link back to the   challenge in your blog post. Turn off word verification so we   can send you lots of feedback. Make sure you link the post not the whole blog to the Linky. Use #AYSI162 when uploading to a public gallery.
  • If you’re unsure about ‘the rules’, check the details under the Challenge Guidelines tab.
