It was so comfy and warm on the website over the past two weeks! Coziness was radiating off the page as the entries came in. And cozy must be synonymous with quality, because there was so much top notch crafting happening across the board! Wow!! It was so hard to sit back, wrapped in our warm blankets, in front of the fire, and choose our winners! Yes, it was a tough job, but somebody had to do it, so we dug in and came up with a consensus, and here they are:
Our Top Pick is: Shawna at the Grand Stampede
Shawna put incredible effort into creating this beautiful floral design, using the colour that makes her feel the coziest: soft peach. Her layered stamping technique for the flowers gave a beautiful result, especially adding the pearlescent look with the Perfect Pearls. And the embossed background with the gold ink is a stunner!
Our Featured Artist is: Jolanda Johnstone
The Design Team fell in love with Jolanda's lovely lilac Hydrangeas in full dimension. All the little florets and the shaped leaves just come alive off the layered purple background. Even the white crinkle seam binding ribbon takes on a lavender hue! Jolanda feels the warmth and positivity in the colour purple and that's why she chose it to complete the sentence in our Fill in the Blank Challenge!
