We got a great response for our Tree theme challenge! Apparently, they are popular, especially around this time of year. Fall trees, Christmas trees, all season trees, you name it - we got it! And our Design Team was able to agree with each other on our winners, too. Is this a new trend? Touch wood....

Vicky's ethereal looking pink trees are actually doing an important job, raising awareness and funds for research for breast cancer through another challenge site! Our team loved the clean and simple look of them, the way the sentiment popped against them, the happy snow in the background and the clean and simple layout! Everyone should have a pink Christmas tree once in their life! Great job, Vicky!
Our first Featured Artist is: Karen Brown
The Design Team was blown away by Karen's fabulous alcohol ink background and the way it was created to represent a lake with a sunset and fall trees lining the shore! How do you get alcohol ink to do exactly what you want in this kind of technique anyway?!! The white die cut tree was perfect in the foreground! Karen's creation totally lives up to the title of Featured Artist!
